मोहाली के चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी में दोपहर 2.30 बजे हंगामा हुआ. बताया गया कि गर्ल्स हॉस्टल में एक छात्रा ने नहाते हुए 60 छात्राओं का वीडियो बनाकर एक युवक को भेज दिया. युवक ने वीडियो को इंटरनेट मीडिया पर वायरल कर दिया। हालांकि पुलिस का कहना है कि आरोपी छात्र ने वही वीडियो बनाया था. सीएम भगवंत मान ने लोगों को अफवाहों पर ध्यान न देने की सलाह देते हुए मामले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच के आदेश दिए हैं।
हॉस्टल मैनेजर रितु रनौत की शिकायत पर पुलिस ने छात्रा और उसके पुरुष मित्र के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया है. युवक शिमला का रहने वाला है और उसका नाम सनी है। पुलिस युवक को गिरफ्तार करने शिमला जा रही है। बताया गया कि मामले की जानकारी होने पर छात्रावास में रहने वाली आठ छात्राओं ने आत्महत्या का प्रयास किया. हालांकि पुलिस ने आत्महत्या की संभावना से इनकार किया है। मामले में आरोपी छात्र को हिरासत में ले लिया गया है।
उधर, चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी के डीपीआरओ ने किसी भी छात्र द्वारा आत्महत्या के प्रयास से इनकार किया है। एसएसपी ने बताया है कि आरोपी को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है. एसएसपी मोहाली ने इस घटना की जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि यह मामला एक छात्रा द्वारा अन्य छात्राओं का वीडियो बनाने का है. इस मामले में प्राथमिकी दर्ज कर आरोपी छात्र को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया है। इस घटना में किसी की मौत की खबर नहीं है।

On the other hand, the DPRO of Chandigarh University has denied any student attempt to commit suicide. The SSP has told that the accused has been arrested. Giving information about this incident, SSP Mohali said that this case is about a student shooting a video of other girl students.
An FIR has been registered in this case and the accused student has been arrested. There is no report of any death related to this incident. As per the medical records, there is no report of suicide by anyone. Said that a student was under stress, she was taken by ambulance. SSP Viveksheel Soni says that in the investigation so far, we have come to know that the accused has only one video. He has not recorded any other video of anyone else. The student’s electronic equipment and mobile phone are being confiscated and sent for forensic examination.

हंगामा इतना बढ़ गया कि सुरक्षा गार्ड ने मुख्य गेट को बंद कर दिया, जबकि पुलिस बल को मौके पर बुला लिया गया है. गुस्साए छात्रों ने पीसीआर वाहनों को भी पलट दिया और पुलिस को लाठीचार्ज करना पड़ा। मामला बड़ा होने के कारण पुलिस प्रशासन भी कुछ नहीं बता रहा है। छात्रों का कहना है कि उन्होंने मामले की शिकायत प्रबंधन से की थी, लेकिन प्रबंधन इस मामले में चुप रहा. उन्होंने मामले के बारे में किसी को कुछ भी बताने से इनकार कर दिया।
